Hello,

I just came from the Malware forum (HJT Teeam) and they informed me that there are no malware problems with my computer. They refferred me to this forum...

1- Upon installation of IE7 along with the windows update patches, my computer gives me the "insufficient ressource" error when I try to open any programs even if there are no programs running.

2- Firefox gives me the following error message:
"Could not initialize the browser's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your browser's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the browser and fix the problem. If you continue to use this browser session, you might see incorrect browser behaviour when accessing security features"

3- My ZoneAlarm shuts down on its own.

Help would be much appreciated...

Thank you,
Goku

Please tell us how much RAM you have, and how much free space on your hard drive; both of these have an effect on your system resources.

Have you tried reinstalling zonealarm and firefox?

Shutdown as many of those "other" programs as possible before running the reinstalls
