Newegg, I buy most of my personal stuff there stick with major brands, such as Western Digital, Seagate, which owns Maxtor, Buffalo, Buslink, etc They have a nice selection.

Risky I know but I purchased a 80GB notebook hard drive from E-bay. And an "ICYBOX IB-251U" Posted Image
This setup is ideal for what I want.

Personally I would stick to Western Digital, Segate & Maxtor, I have used these brands since the year dot and never had problems. However Hitachi, IBM have always caused many errors.

I've been using a Western Digital Passport 120 gB drive for a while now and it's the greatest! Small, USB powered, and I can carry it in a shirt pocket.

I've also got a 500 gB Western Digital MyBook Essential Edition - and it works great. My first one started to die and Western Digital replaced it immediately under the warranty.

I bought them from the cheapest place listed at http://www.pricegrabber.com/ and only considered those places with a bit of color in the 5th star of their 5 star rating system.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
