The Colors While Playing Dvd's Come Out Funky...

Whenever I try to play a DVD on my computer, the colors are always wrong, they have a sort of tutti-frutti effect...

Running Win XP Pro, video player and decoder is Mplayerc.

If only colours of dvd-videos are affected in this way, it's probably a setting needs altering in the options of your dvd-player software.

Tried that, nothing happens.

sounds like you need the right codec ,do you have divx player?

try downloadingace mega codecsits what i used when my dvds were just showing a green screen worked for me .

VLC media player - Overview is an open source player, plays about everything except QuickTime and Real Player files.

This DVD you are playing is it an original or a burned one? If you have burned it with what program?

This DVD you are playing is it an original or a burned one? If you have burned it with what program?


They are the original copies.
