Hi everyone!
my 1 st visit here!

I ran through instructions found here among different discussions & tutorials.
I'm fixing my sister's PC and want to know if everything's fine before she gets the PC back.

This is what I use for scanning
AVG anti-spyware
Spybot
Ad-Aware
Xoftspy SE
Stinger
Reg cleaner
Vundo fix V6 3.23
Symantec anti-virus (installed in PC)
Trend micro free scan on line

OS is Windows XP Pro service pack 2
Pentium 4 2.00 Ghz
512 RAM
4 user's account

I would like to provide the hijackthis log. done after these operations, in order to know if everything is O.K for her; If so, I will create a HD Image for future help if problems come again......

Thanks for your help !

Welcome to the BleepingComputer HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum spoon

I do realise you've already run Vundofix, please run it again, thanks.
Download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
When VundoFix re-opens,click the "Scan for Vundo" button.
Once it's done scanning, click the "Remove Vundo" button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click "YES".
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed,it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click "OK".
Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt into your next reply.

Note:
It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case,VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

*******************************

Please download Combofix and save to your desktop:
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/Beta/ComboFix.exe
Note:
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

Close any open browsers.
Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
