Whenever I make a change to the toolbar in Firefox, whenever I restart it the changes are always reversed! How do I keep it from doing this?

Can you be more specific about what changes you are making that do not hold? I would like to try to duplicate what you are attempting, if you can go step by step. Are you using Ff 2.0.0.3?
Regards,
John

Yes, I am using that.

First thing I try to get rid of is the bookmarks toolbar, so I right click near the top of the toolbars, and uncheck "Bookmarks Toolbar"

Then there are some other things I try to add to the toolbars, so I right click, click customise, drag the one I want to the toolbar, and then click done.

All of the changes are reversed when I restart Firefox.

This Firefox article should do the trick, see Corrupt localstore.rdf.
