hi all i have windows xp home edition on my dell 2400 ...problem is ( I THINK ) Microsoft CAPICOM 2.1.0.2 ..after i got the update from microsoft my CheckIt Diagnostics that came with my norton system works says my memory has an error..note my memory ( 1 gig total ) is less than a year old . At first my pc would not let me upload pictures from my digital camera so i did a compleate reinstall of my windows xp and before i downloaded all the high pritory up dates my CheckIt Diagnostics memory test said no errors. after i got the updates which include Microsoft CAPICOM 2.1.0.2 ( that is one of the newer updates ) ran into the same error again ( i am now able to upload pictures from my digital camera but the CheckIt Diagnostics memory test says error. i have read some articles on the program Microsoft CAPICOM 2.1.0.2 and it says something about a memory leak ? Please note i am not a tech but i do know my computer and there is no spyware or viruses on it at all and this is the only problem i have with it ? CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A SIMPLE ANSWER ? THANKS

Can you uninstall the CAPICOM software? If so, does that stop the problem? Could you give us some of the links that you found about the memory leak?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
