Well I can usually solve most of my own problems (usually caused by me  ) However, this time I am stuck. Once I boot my comp up (running XP home w/sp2). I check my running processes and it showed that file devldr32.exe running over 10 times. After that is just keeps multiplying. At one point I have over 200 processes running and that file was there over 30 times! I have already tried the following:

(ran everything in and out of safemode)

Norton Antivirus
Spybot
Ad-aware
Vundofix
SDfix
smitrem

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. I know that the file is part of Creative Labs audio system, however I don't know why it is multiplying so rapidly. Usually I only have 1 devldr32.exe file in my taskmanager not >30. HELP!

If it's a part of the Creative software, I'd suggest uninstalling the software - then installing a freshly downloaded copy to fix the corruption.

If it's not a part of the Creative software, it's possible that it is a virus - if so, try one of these free, online scans:

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Thanks for the help!. I was able to boot into safemode and delete the file itself even though it is needed for my Legacy audio system (creative labs) and that worked  . I will try and reinstall tonight.
