Hello mz30 and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. I don't see any signs of viruses or malware int he log. It is clean.

It is best not to be running any other programs when an anti-virus or anti-spyware program is performing a system scan. These scans are very resource intensive and and can be affected by running applications of the applications prevent access to their files.

Try running the scan after closing all other applications first and let the scan run unhindered until it completes. If it stops at some point it could be either that it is scanning a large file that takes some time or it is prevented from accessing the file. In either case it should display which file is being scanned.

If a scan cannot be completed from a normal boot then boot to Safe Mode and run the scan from there.

Post the results of the scan back here and I'll take a look.

Cheers.

Hi mz30. Yup, everything looks fine. AVGAS only found a couple of cookies and you will always have those.

You can remove those 2 items using HijackThis but it will only remove the registry entires, not any files or folders. It is best to remove programs through the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel to make sure that they are uninstalled properly. The kdx program still appears to be installed and active so it would be best to use that method first. If the programs did not fully uninstall then you can manually delete any files/folders that are left-over.

Cheers.
