My computer loads a whole bunch of strange stuff at startup (my fault, obviously, I download a lot of random programs). Neuber's Security Task Manager looks kind of cool. Any opinions on whether it's worth buying?

I looked at this app before, while it does look quite good, you might consider these two programs...

1 http://www.processlibrary.com/processscan/

2 http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysintern...ssExplorer.mspx

these will tell you whats running on your system and are free.

hope this helps
Regards,

Alan.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

The free version of WinPatrol may do what you need, too.

Free is good!

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!
