I just installed Ubuntu and love it I only have one problem.........I can not get it to connect to comcast any suggestions?

First, make sure you have renewed the IP. There should be a little network icon at the top right (two monitors...). Right-click it, and select "properties", or "configure". There should be an option to renew the IP.

Unplug your modem for a few hours?

Check your bill?
