...DAT files being released on May 15th, 2007 (currently schedule to be 5031 Dat Version), and all subsequent DAT files, will no longer function with the 4400 scan engine. Any products still running the 4400 scan engine that receive the May 15th, or later, DAT release will no longer provide protection for the systems on which they are installed.

For those who have McAfee products, how would they tell if they have the 4400 scan engine that this notice is referring to?

I don't use McAfee but I found these instructions from a Google search.
