:thumbsup: help, i cant run most of my programs because i think i deleted some wrong stuff(stupid i know).
seems as lot of file extensions have gone walkies and i cant use system restore amongst other things .
windows wont open most programs, not even OE XPdisc.
What can i do apart from never use the computer again??

What did you delete that caused the problem, or do you even know?

Dont know, was into registry cleaner and it all went downhill from there

Ohh....yeah, they usually cause more harm than good.

The executables should still be on your system as well as the program files. Are you referring to programs like Office or something? Which programs are you now unable to use? Have you tried locating the program from the C:\WINDOWS\Program Files folder?

What registry cleaner did you use? Many of them create backups that allow you to undue the changes you made.

This is one reason why its important to always back up your registry before making any changes. If you are not familiar with working in the registry, then you should NOT attempt to make any changes on your own. Improper changes to the registry could adversely affect your computer and render it inoperable.
