Low Disc Space. Need Help!

My PC kept coming up saying critically low disc space on the hard-drive so i deleted some stuff to free space then within a day the message was back. its got worse and worse soi that no - everytime i check the amount of free space on the c: drive, the number is different - its getting closer and closer to 0 though. does anyone know whats wrong?

What size is the hard drive?

When is the last time you dumped all your temp and temporary internet files?

Can you determine where the growth in used space is happening? That might provide a solid clue about what is causing it. As a second step, make sure you have scanned your hard drive for malware.
