i bought a used computer, and the administrator account is password protected. they cannot tell me what it is because they do not remember. i can't do anything, understandably, so how can i recover or change it so the computer can finally belong to me?

It is against the policy of BleepingComputer to provide information on methods to reset or bypass the Administrator password. Though your question is most likely legitimate, there are others who may read this topic and use the information for less savory reasons. It is for these reasons we do not provide this type of information. One link has already been provided and that is as far as this thread will go. With this in mind I will close this thread.

If you have any questions, please feel free to send me or any other staff member a private message . Thank you for your understanding.
