I was having problems getting the live updates from Norton so I uninstalled it and downloaded McAfee. Now my internet connection is as slow as dial up or freezes. Any suggestions? Thanks

There is no one size fits all when it comes to security products for your computer. What works well for some doesn't work for others. It could be that McAfee isn't the right program for you. Panda didn't play nice with my system, so I ditched it.
You could install McAfee, and try something else.
There are some excellent free products, such as Zone Alarm for a firewall and AVG for anti-virus.
Do some research, you will find others. Give those a try and see if your problem clears up.

Norton & McAfee Have a lot of problems so i suggest you stay away from those AVs (Anti-Virus)
because they're vulnerable to attacks from malware writers (being too much popular)
try something else like Avira or such that so......

Did you notice you're internet slowed down when you installed McAfee?
If so download another anti-virus like AVG instead
