hi could someone please tell me about this as i have just checked my computer after someone else has been on it and they have accesed telnet could he done something to access my computer from his ???

Yes they could have - it depends what they did on telnet.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

i dont know what he did but i have spent last few hours sorting computer out because things started to bleep up but i did a system resore to yesterdays restore point and all has gone back to normal, my mate is a wizz on computers and likes to think him self of a bit of a hacker? :thumbsup: but he talks a load of crap sometimes how do i find out what he did??

If you can't trust him on your system - then don't let him on your system. Whether it's viruses or it's changes in settings, do you want your system to behave like this each time he uses it?

Maybe let him on using a Limited User account if you have to - that way the damage that he causes can be minimized.

well i wont let him on my computer again with out me being there next to him he is mainly all talk anyway, so what can you use telnet for then?
