Device Manager Displays Error

under SCSI and RAID controllers, theres a ! mark, on Via bus master IDE drivers


I just installed a new mobo and processor, and thankfully Windows XP booted, but now I need to install the correct driver for the IDE?

Did you get a installation CD with the motherboard?

why won't my laptop work?

Yes I do, but it does not seem to have the files for windows XP, it has them for winnt, winme, and win98.

Well, I'd say Winnt would probably work but I check the mobo maker's website to see if you can find an updated one. What board is it?

Its a Shuttle AV40, I've looked for the drivers, and downloaded them, but it has crashed recently, twice, and I believe it might be because I never reinstalled Windows.
