Msconfig Problem/windows Problem

When I use msconfig and change certain things its shwos a message that says access denied must be logged in as a administrator yet I only have one account on my computer and i know I'm the administrator and some times when it shows the message it keeps the change I did even thought access denied popped up i have no clue what to do can u please help me with this problem.
