I have mulled over all the forums and finally decided to post here. If I am in the wrong place, I presume that my post will be moved.

I am trying to buy a projector so that I will be able to show a room-full of people how one particular OS works. However, I am getting conflicting advice and just don't understand the language (I know nothing about projectors). Which is the newest technology: LCD or DLT? LCD - I think I understand. DLT - I don't even know what this is!

Please excuse my ignorance. Help really needed here.

(Moderator edit: presumption is correct. Post moved to more appropriate forum. jgw)

DLT or more correctly DLP (Digital Light Processing) is the newer of the technologies. It was created (hope that's the right word) by Texas Insraments a few years ago and powers (yet again hope thats the right word) many HDTV's.

Heres some Info on DLP

and some on LCD
