Hello to everyone!

I am one of the fortunate ones that was attacked by the Home Search Assistant hijacker deal! I came here in hopes of gaining some insight to getting rid of this annoying thing. Seems like a great community to belong to! Although I dont have much to contribute as to assistance in these matters I do enjoy meeting new folks and chatting about similar issues.

Looking forward to being able to actually use my system efficiently once again if we can get this stinking thing off of it!

See ya all in the forums! I'm in Chicago and boy is it.....

Welcome to BC from another Chicagoan.
You will find BC a great place for computer information,a very friendly place to ask questions or talk about computer problems, and a good way to keep up on news.
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.

Brrr, timmytim, that Home Search Assistant tends to stick around like a winter cold, huh?
It will no doubt teach ya' more than you expected by the time your PC is finally well again and you're back to enjoying your computer working the way it was supposed to. Hang in there.
