You can't install one copy of XP on two computers. Well, you can, but if you don't register the second computer XP will stop functioning after an amount of time. If you register the second one the first will quit working.

First of all XP will have to be installed from the CD unless you have copied the whole CD onto your home computer.
Secondly, it is illegal to install the same copy of XP onto 2 separate computers with only 1 license. It is however possible to install XP from 1 CD onto 2 separate computers, BUT, you will have to activate XP with Microsoft on both computers. Activating an already activated XP install will invalidate the first one activated. I am pretty sure this site does not condone pirating of ANY software.
To simplify this it means you must purchase 2 copies of XP to run on 2 computers.
