I am missing a large collecting of mp3s from a folder. They are just gone where they existed a few days ago and no one else had access to my computer. Not all the files are in a playlist, but the ones that are can still be accessed.... Some of the files I will not remember and cannot replace. PLEASE HELP! Would chkdsk help? I don't want it to erase the files if I try, but I am running out of ideas. Is there any program that will let me see the folder contents and move the files that way.... Please help... I appreciate any feedback...

May we assume that they are not in the Recycle Bin?

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

hahahaha, yes!
I have home built all three computers in my life, have programming experience and have dealt with many problem solving computer tasks. This is the first time I have encountered such a problem and the internet has very little if any information regarding the problem. The files have the same file path however are not visible in windows....

Try searching the hard drive for .mp3 files to see if they were moved.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
