Some One Has Put A Key Logger In My Computer.

We stay in a resedential university,so all of us have laptops and we have LAN connection through our rooms.
We are all connected to the same network i guess (i dont know not that good with my comp lingo)
so i think some one has put a key logger on my comp.IS there anyway i can find out.And also how can i protect my comp from it.

Based on what you suspect you have a keylogger on your computer. Is that based on an entry in the add/remove software part in control panel?
