i am having some trouble removing ctfmon.exe from the startup list and from my comp C:/Windows/System32/ctfmon.exe is what keeps coming up what should i do about this and how can i get rid of it from startup which it is in 2 x's and from my computer?

ok but that does not tell me how to get rid of it from startup completly thats what i need to do get it off my system

also another question if i have microsoft .net framework 1.0, 2.0, &3.0 do i need all three or can i get rid of previous versions?

there is also a microsoft .net frmaework english v 1.0.3705 can i take that out as well since it seems to be a previous version?

please dont be annoyed im just trying to get my new computer runnin smooth you know ?

If I may ask why do you wish to remove it? The article provided about suggests that is be left installed.

As for this, i'm not too sure whether you can safely remove the previous version of .net. However, it does not harm to keep these files.
