I am trying to make the fixes described in the HJT forum. I cant get the laptop to boot in safe mode. It boots normal. Can fixes be made to HJT in normal mode or does it have to be made in safe mode.

ydbird,

Please follow only the advice given in your hjt thread. As hillbillygreek has mentioned, if you have any problems Rahina is the one who needs to answer for now. Accepting advice from anyone else may delay your repair and cause problems for the hjt team mamber doing your repair.

I am glad to hear your safe mode issue has been resovled - good job, but please stick with Rahina.
