I have added spybot to my computer and AVG and did the scans. I have gone through my computer and deleted all cookies, temp files, and all others not need.

My lap top is still locking up very regularly. I have a sony vaio laptop with windows. I have 512 mb ram (which used to be fine).

What else is there to do other than getting more ram? If I did get more ram would that solve my problem?

Thanks for you help....

Shannon

I dont really remember the AVG finding anything. The spybot found 96 items and it fixed them. I have ran several spybots since and then finds a couple of "cookie " things.
