I live in rural Oklahoma and have both phone and DSL service via fiber optic cable. I had connected a Linksys Wireless B 24 GHz 802.116, model BEFW11S4 and it worked until a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone know if fiber optic is hard on this router and if I need a special router to work with the fiber optic DSL? If so, can you recommend a good one? Thanks much.

won't make any difference what type of router you use. They all simply see the internet connection as just that, a connection, speed or type makes no difference.
