Hi, I'm John. Currently a 3rd year college student pursuing a bachelors degree in electrical engineering. I'm the oldest of 5 kids and close to home to continue being the home techie (sp?).

I found this site looking to remove this annoying spylocked thing, which I'm not sure if I should make my own post in the appropriate forum/area or if I should just make a new post in a current forum/area already discussing the spylock issue.

Initially I was going to use this site just for this problem, but I think I may be sticking around a little longer after the this problem is fixed

Hello, John.
Welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Have you tried this self-help fix:
How To Remove Spylocked And Spywarelocked (removal Instructions)

If it doesn't work, just make a post in the Am I infected? What do I do? forum, giving as much detail about your problem, as you can.

Please take the time to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the board works.
If you have any questions about how to use this site, this forum will probably answer them.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There's a lot of very useful information, in there.

EE students are always welcome at BC!
IF you have questions about spylock, the best place to post them is probably in the "Am I Infected?" forum.
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.
