My name is Pat, and while I usually feel I've done pretty well at keeping my computer clean of major bugs over the years, I find myself getting frustrated with the slowing (on start-up) that I'm experiencing. I've found that changes through msconfig and phone calls to Dell Support (I have an XPS) have not helped.

So I am hopeful that I can learn a lot on this site, and enjoy the support of those with way more knowledge and experience than I have.

I am a Dominican Sister, and I share what I learn with other sisters, and sometimes work on their computers getting them to work better. Most the nuns I know (though not all!) aren't all that technological. I use the computer a lot! Mostly for graphic arts . . . . well, and other fun stuff.

Peace and all good, Pat
