Dis time it did stuff internally and the wheel and the rubberband that make it open and close fell off which i repaired.. but when I put my dvd in.... nothing happened, please tell me if there is a way to fix this, if not necesssary buying another cause this one was alot..

WC3 is a great game, lol.

Did this "explosion" happen when it closed? or when it was open? What type of DVD Rom do you have? They are reasonably cheap and easy to install.

If it's literally exploded and there's cracked plastic, you will have to buy a new one. How badly damaged would you say it is?

Open up the case and have a look at the DVD drive, see if you notice anything.

Assuming you own computer, there will be a number of screws on the tower unit. Simply get a screw driving or knife and undo them.

Remove the drive if possible and look for obvious damage.

Ok try this for now. Go to device manager and see if it's got a yellow exclamation mark over DVD or CD Drive..
