Good Morning,

Have a windows 2k SP2 machine. My add remove programs screen in control panel is completely blank with a "cl&ose" button instead of close. Also when i try to enter in searches into yahoo it comes back with an error message saying my browser entered something invalad. I have one IE pop up window that comes up but im unable to maximize it. It just stays minimized at the bottom till i right cick and close it. Im attempting to uninstall and reinstall IE but without the add remove programs its a bit tricky. I did adaware newest definitions, spybot, and trend micro. All found some various things that were removed. Deleted temp directory in local settings though some files werent able to be deleted. I am posting my log to make sure there is nothing lingering that may be interfering with these issues. Any guidance is appreciated.

Put a checkmark next to the following entries in HijackThis. Make sure all
other windows and browsers are closed before clicking on “Fix Checked”
.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - SOFTWARE - (no file)
O2 - BHO: BTGrabObj Class - {00000000-F09C-02B4-6EC2-AD0300000000} - C:\WINNT\BTGrab.dll

***********************************************************************

That's really all I see, and nothing there should be causing the symptoms you are describing, unless Symantec is somehow blocking the malware from fully loading or something...

Do those fixes first, and see if it fixes the problem. If not, we'll look a little deeper and see what we can find.
