I just purchased a Samsung 22" flat panel monitor to replace the Dell 17" that came with my computer three + years ago. I can't quite get the resolution fine tuned so test looks sharp. I would also like to increase the vertical setting a bit. Has anyone experienced this same problem if so how did you resolve it. I'm using Windows XP Professional with SP 2 and an 128 Rage video card.

Thanks, David

Right click on desktop, select properties, click the settings tab, click the advanced button, click the adapter tab, click the list all modes, scroll the list and see if there is a mode that corresponds to your monitor, and continue from there.
The name says it all -- 59 and holding permanently
