My boss wants to know why my PC is generating a ton of traffic on the compnay firewall. I have cleaned out your temporary internet files and temp files, I have run Housecall, Panda, Bit Defender, Windows Defender, Ad-aware, and Spybot, and I have completely cleaned my PC. My PC is also generating traffic while I am not here on nights and weekends. I am attaching my HiJack This log hoping that someone can see something that I don't. Thank you for your time.

Hello sbradford and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. Copy/paste a current HijackThis log to this post (don't attach it as a file) as a Reply and we'll have a look.

Cheers.

Hi sbradford. I don't see any signs of viruses or malware in the log. It is clean.

As for firewall activity, it could be any of a number of programs running on the computer. It appears to be a shared computer. It has VNC running on it, Jet Admin, HarmonyRemote, a RemoteAdminServer etc. Any one of these will probably create traffic on the network and if accessed remotely or are controlling remote devices will pass traffic through the firewall. You should be able to monitor what traffic is going through the firewall by monitoring the firewall. For help with that, I would suggest posting in the Networking forum and the tech there can advise what to set up to see the traffic. Let them know that you have already been to this forum and that no malware was found.

Cheers.
