Outlook Error

getting error about the above mentioned file in outlook. this is company laptop i am using so i dont have disk to reinstall. Please help quick i need my e-mail for business.

Which version of Outlook do you have and did you have?This error mostly indicates there is a comptability issue between that file and your current version of Outlook. Please browse to that file and post the version of it ( rightclick and than propperties)

i am running outlook 2003 and its the only one i have ever used?? the file is version 9.0.0.2601

now i went to start microsoft excel and it says is configuring and installing. then a installation error pops up saying the SKU011.CAB file cannot be found?????? I was just using excel yesterday and all was fine!! Please help me.

take the laptop back to the IT department for them to fix. The laptop is probably setup to prevent you from changing anything.

I would need to know what OS that the laptop has, what you can log on as, if the laptop hooks up to a domain, or just as a regular standalone, are you able to log into the administrator account, etc. It would probably be easier for you to call the IT folks.

it is a standalone and yes i log on as admin. i run windows XP

Search for the SKU011.CAB file make sure that you check the hidden and system files and folders in the advanced options. when office tries to re install, use the dialog box to point to the folder where the files is located, that is if it is on the hard drive. If the file is not found, you will need the original office CD.

i dont have the cd and i have done as you said and searched for it. is there a place where i can download the file?
