I'm about to lose my mind.

See, I've been running a Pertelian. I like my Pertelian. It's very useful.

However, the nice little update in the topic title came up for an update in Windows Update. I shouldn't have installed it. I know I shouldn't. However, I had just reformatted and I didn't know if it was a necessary hardware update or what. It added a little thing in my control panel called ACG Applet 2.0. This "applet" doesn't appear to even work right.

Now? I can't run my Pertelian. It appears to have killed my COM ports. I want the thing off and I want it off now, but I can't find any way to kill it. It appears to even self-resurrect in some cases, judging by some similarly confused people on the Pertelian forums. I'm not even sure what driver to try to roll-back. It's... frustrating as all hell. Getting to the end of my rope.

Would you go to the Event Viewer in the Administrative Tools, located in the Control Panel. Please post any errors list in the last 24 hours.
Please do not post the entire log. This is unnecessary and counter productive. Start with the top 2 or 3 errors.
