I was wondering if anyone knew if cpqset in HP laptop controls your power management? I used to be able to create power management profiles but all or the sudden it will not let me create them. It ,or something, has also wiped out all of the profiles that I had created and left only the "laptop" profile! HELP!!!

I found a link here that explains what the process does as for the deletion of profiles, are they hardware profiles or user profiles?
