I lately had been pestered and frustrated by the adware and popups trying to convience me that there are virus or some kind of a spyweare that is about to invade my PC and the Network that I have to download an antispyware to get rid of it. I really I am frustrated please help me to get rid of this stupid thing.

Hang in there. There is a known bug that was found in SmitFraudFix program and the developer is working on a fix for it. Please be patient. I will notify this topic when we have a resolution.

Hope to have an answer tomorrow.

The link to the instructions posted by fozzie was a fix for the bug in SmitfraudFix 2.169 which resulted AFTER running the tool. Since you did not run the tool then you do not need to follow those instructions as they do not apply.
