XP help

can anybody help me right now i m runing 2000 pro and i m upgrading to winxp home edition .. my question is that if i upgrade to xp will it delete the files that i have on my computer or it will just upgrade to xp home? need help

Hello, its been awhile, but as I recall I had an issue when going from 2000 pro to XP home. I'm guessing that it had to do with going from pro down to home. I would reccommend saving anything you cant afford to lose, because I had to uninstall win 2000 and then do a clean install of xp rather than update 2000. Hope this helps.
