I get the same problem every once in a while, too.

Only I'm using IE7.

Closing it, and re-opening sometimes works.

I've isolated the problem to my firewall. If I disable it, the page comes in OK and then I enable the firewall again and everything is fine.

Maybe that's your problem, too?

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

A common cause is too tight security settings which disable use of META refresh.

Try going to Internet Options/ Security/ Custom Level/ verify that Allow
is enabled.
Then go to the General Tab and delete files and offline content.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
