i am looking to buy a new laptop, and was wondering wat all i will need to connect wirelessly to my cable modem. i know i will need a wireless router, but r there any kind of adapters i need to buy in order for my laptop to recieve the signal from the wireless router? (this may seem like a stupid question, but this is my first time setting up a wireless network, and i want to make sure i am doing it right.)

Most new laptops come with a built-in wireless network card. Just make sure it has one and you'll have everything you need.
