is there a way to get rid of windows messenger? I have tried to use the remove windows components tool, and tried just deleting all the files i can find for it. I use msn messenger, but windows messenger always signs in first. where is it hiding, or how can i finally get rid of it? Thanks!!

Solutions may be found here: http://www.theeldergeek.com/

There is much simpler method, a script that can be run to remove Messenger. Search for with search phrase 'messenger removal script' or similar.

Hope this helps!
