I just installed MS Outlook 2003 and whenever I start it it just opens for a second and then shuts down immediately. I had Outlook Express before and never really had much trouble with it... Thanks for any help!

Hello, biggin587:

Try to run Outlook 2003 using the safe switch:
Click Start, Run...
Type in...outlook /safe
Click OK

Does it open?

If it does, you could try to run the Detect and Repair... under the Help menu.

In the Control Panel, you could also try to click the Change button for Outlook.(probably listed as MS Office 2003)

You could attempt the Reinstall or Repair option.

Let us know.

or alternavely go to evenviewer ( START RUN type eventvwr) and look for white crosses in red dots in any of the three segments. Post back the errors here. Did you only install Outlook or the whole Office2003 package?
