Hello, I just got this virus i think. i was searching the internet when my web browser closed, then my desktop background turned completely grey. then i got a little icon in the toolbar saying "your computer is infected!" witch i knew right away was a virus because ive had something similar. I looked into my task manager and found this one witch i didnt recognize... "U.exe". I ended it, then went on to figuring out how to fix my backgound, i fixed it in the end, restarted my comp, then logged back on. that "your comp is infected" poped up again, i looked for U.exe but couldnt find it, but i found "xpupdate.exe" and ended that one as well. I used up to date norton and ad-aware and neither did anything about it. Can someone help me please?

Thanks in advance

I have split off your HJT Log and you can find it here, in the proper forum for it to be seen. Also for you to be helped with your issue: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/88846/w32rbot-qe-removal/

Follow all the directions of the tech who assists you. To preclude additional information being posted here, that may conflict with the HJT advice you will be given. I will close this thread.
