I have just begun to have a problem with Windows Mail that isn't major but if someone could help with a fix I would sure appreciate it.

I right clicked on Windows Mail and checked in properties to always open the mail with it maximized. This works perfectly.

Where I am having problems is that when I select a new email it come out in a "reduced size box" (my term) and I have to maximize it before I can write the email.

Is there a way to set the defaul so that when I write a new email that it will come out maximized so that I don't have to maximize it each time I want to write an email.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Try this. Open a new email item.

Then when the "reduced size box" item appears, move your cursor to the edge line at the top, bottom, or either side. You should see a double arrow appear. <->

Right click with your mouse and you should be able to drag the margins to whatever size you wish. Once you've modified the box, simply close it out. The next new email item you open should be at the new size you have set.

 You're welcome!

I often write right as correct/proper/suitable, just to avoid spelling errors on my part.
