my computer started getting all the fake security scare popups. I have Mcafee and adaware and they cant seem to help me. Mcafee site advisor suggested here, and i tried the smitfraudfix, but when i booted windows in safe mode it just showed me a black screen with SAFE MODE in the corners, and i used the task manager to run the smitfraudfix program, but at the end it didn't shut down the computer like it was supposed to, so I shut it down, and the problem isn't gone. Won't somebody help me please?

Hello shendogg

Did you follow the generic instructions for using SmitfraudFix in BC's self-help tutorial "How to remove the Smitfraud/Generic Zlob"? A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process so if your computer does not restart automatically, please do it yourself manually.
