i am having alot of problems with my computer at the moment but the main one is that in my control panel if i click on my security center when it loads up it say - this security center is currently unavilable because the "security center" service was not started or was stoped could this have some thing to do with losing my broadband connection? as it says it hgets timed out and i was told it may have something to do with the firewall

If you are using an alternative one, such as McAfee, Symantec/Norton, or AVG then the Windows Security Center service does not run

Hello,

If you go to start then run and type services.msc scroll down the list to the security center and make sure the service is started.
Regards,

Alan.
