I have been having a problem with my computer just randomly shutting down with no "windows is shutting down" screen or anything, it just seems as though the power cord was disconnected, but then just starts back up again. i was wondering if there was anything that i could do (i have tried a system restore ans even the HP system recovery, and neither work)

What programmes are you running when it shuts down?

It could be caused by your compter overheating. You could try cleaning out the case.
