Hello,

Check and fix next entry in Hijackthis:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [mav_startupmon] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinAntiVirus Pro 2007\mav_startupmon.exe"

Then delete next folders if still present:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinAntiVirus Pro 2007
C:\Program Files\WinAntiVirus Pro 2007

Let me know in your next reply what problems you are still having.

Let me know what exact file Adaware is flagging as Winantivirus pro - and in what folder it is present.
Or is it the MSC71.dll it is flagging? What makes you think it's related with your Wireless Internet?

I assume this file is present in your C:\Windows\system32-folder? Do next please..

Go to next site:
http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexf.html
On top you'll find 'Browse'
Click the browse button and browse to next file:

C:\Windows\system32\MSC71.dll

Click open.
Then click the 'Send' button next to it.
This will scan the file. Please be patient.
Once scanned, copy and paste the results in your next reply.

MFC71.dll is found in 6 different places in my computer-

c:\i386
c:\Program files\Microsoft Works
c:\WINDOWS\system 32
c:\Program Files\Sonic\DVD
c:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\QCDRV\BIN
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Date\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Recovery\WinsoftwareWinAntiVirusPro2/zip

here is what happens

I do my adaware scan. when it is finished it being up the winAntivirusPro as being somethign that i need to delete off my comp. it is a 10 on the TAC scale. when I do it says that it can delete all but 2 .dll files- ATL71.dll and MSC71.dll. it asks if i want to delete then upon start up. so i click and say yes. once i reboot i get a pop up that wont go away. it says that a certain BCMWLTRY.exe cannot be started due to MSC71.dll not being present in my system. i looked for that BCMWLTRY.exe file on my system and it showed its self in the form of my wireles internet (c:\i386)

is there any thing else i can do?

Hi,

May i appologise for my typing error. the file is MFC71.dll

Ah, that makes sense now. That file is indeed OK and not bad.
This looks like a false positive Adaware is flagging, so what I suggest here is, ignore this in the scan and contact Adaware and make them aware of this false positive. For that, register at the Lavasoft (Adaware) forums and post your "issue/false positive" in this thread:
http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showforum=93
