Hi, I'm new to this site and I am very frustrated with my xp system. looking around the site I've notice that there are already treads on this topic but the fixs suggested have not worked for my system :flowers: Not exactly sure what triggers the slow aud/vid but i have run anti spywhwere, defraged, cleaned the hardrive, downloaded start up checker, rebooted a zillion times (reboot is very slow), deleted "masteridchecksum" and "slaveidchecksum...and checked that my primary ide channel is set to DMA code (i have 2 one set to 5 the other set to 2).....any thoughts?

Would you be able to give a little more detail about the exact problem?

What do you mean slow audio and video? Everything else is fast?

What sort of video and sound card do you have?
