I was mulitasking and accidently let something through SPYBOT search and destroy, instead of blocking it. and now its hijacked IE with this annoying pop-up that comes up every few minutes even after closing it. :flowers: :huh:

//rond.starsdoor.com/ac.php?bannerid=10&zoneid=1&target=_blank&withtext=&source=&timeout=0&ct0=

//Mod edit to modify URL above to protect others.

I blocked it successfully via blacklist on my pop-up blocker...but its still there and who know if its doing anything else bad. I want to delete it completely but don't know how.

here are the lines from SPYBOT log that I suspect started the proble:

4/11/2007 4:12:33 AM Allowed value "runner1" (new data: "C:\WINDOWS\updater.exe 61A847B5BBF72816228849360B8D1BE1C59331416DC57C032CBD1BE3D290641833") added in System Startup global entry!
4/11/2007 4:12:54 AM Allowed value "IpWins" (new data: "C:\Program Files\Ipwindows\ipwins.exe") added in System Startup user entry!

:huh:

I deleted the C:\Program Files\Ipwindows\ipwins.exe file and folder, but will put it back if that was a bad thing to do (doesn't seem to have had any affect, good or bad). I've run every recommended malware, adware, virus, scan here and then some, but nothing seems to catch it.

here is the scan log from Hijack this:

hope you can help me kill this thing!!!! :thumbsup:
